For my 7th Grade Science Fair, I developed a science fair project that could help improve current car autopilot systems. New York Times ArticleSo I wanted to create a car that could successfully distinguish between a foreground and background of same color. I created the car using Python coding and the car would drive along a path. When the car saw an obstacle (that was the same color as the background), it stopped. With this science fair project, I won 1st place at the Alameda County Science and Engineering Fair, and an opportunity to compete at the State Science Fair and the Broadcom Masters program.
